PATTI AND MIKE | VIRGINIA WATERFRONT WEDDING, IRVINGTON TIDES INN

Congratulations Patti and Mike! Surrounded by waterfront views, this beautiful fun-loving bride and groom said "I do" on the croquet lawn for their Tides Inn wedding on the Northern Neck in Virginia, a Chesapeake Bay Resort. They had a wonderful time, full-to-the-brim of laughter with friends and family. A great bunch!

Different shades of purple created the perfect elegant color scheme for the day. The bridesmaids carried white long stem hydrangeas which created beautiful contrast against their purple cotton sateen dresses with ruching and (yay!) pockets, from David's Bridal. Patti also gave her bridesmaids matching purple jewelry from Charming Charlie. The perfect finishing touch! The bride's dress was an embroidered organza gown with 3D floral details also from David's Bridal. The men wore the traditional black tux from the Men's Wearhouse. The engagement and wedding bands are from Jared, the Galleria of Jewelry. Cindy Naylor of the Wild Bunch Flowers  in Urbanna, Va created a gorgeous bouquet and cake arrangement for the big day. The cake was not only beautiful but very tasty as well, by Carried Away Cuisine in Irvington, Virginia. Patti incorporated her love for scrapbooking and creativity into her wedding in so many ways even down to her embellished purple heels. Patti pre-created a guestbook scrapbook with places for Polaroid photos of each guest and a comment area. She also hand-made her program which doubled as a fan for her guests (and a shade too). They were a huge hit for this sunny July wedding! Patti exchanged the traditional flower girl basket for personalized bags with a sweet reusable purple flower clip. All three of  the girls loved them. Patti and Mike's wedding was full of creative ideas.
My personal favorite was the cookie table full of all different types of cookies made by the bridesmaids! YUM! Everyone at the wedding had a wonderful time dancing the night away with music by DJ Hunter of Choice Entertainment.
